As the temperature drops, dog owners may wonder if their pets need clothing to stay warm during the freezing seasons. However, not every dog requires a winter coat, and in some cases, an extra warm layer can do more harm than good. Under the right conditions, though, most dogs benefit from an additional protective layer against the harsh weather.
